One of the speakers at the 2015 Urban Summit being held in Dallas today is Edward McMahon, a fellow with the Urban Land Institute.
McMahon is talking about sustainable development trends and what works in creating new communities and projects in major cities across the country.
Since the Dallas-Fort Worth area is one of the fastest growing urban centers in the nation, McMahon says this a good place to think about dealing with issues like transportation, redevelopment and congestion.
“It’s a hot market city problem,” he said in a visit before his talks. “A lot of what we are talking about is coping with success.”
