Wade Park developer lands The Rustic, Steel City Pops at $1.6B project in Frisco

The development group behind Wade Park has landed some sought-after retailers, entertainment venues and restaurants for the $1.6 billion, 175-acre mixed-use development — from The Rustic to Steel City Pops to furniture retailer Arhaus.

By landing these shops, Atlanta-based Thomas Land & Development will be able to create an experience and destination unlike any other in the vicinity of the project along the Dallas North Tollway.

J.P. Morgan Chase whittles down DFW search for new home for 6,000 employees

Banking and financial services company J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. could be closer to making a decision on its real estate search for a new Dallas-Fort Worth home for 6,000 of its North Texas employees.

The firm has narrowed down the options to the north end of the Dallas North Tollway at the $2 billion Legacy West development and other corporate options along Frisco’s $5 Billion Mile, according to real estate sources close to the deal. J.P. Morgan Chase (NYSE: JPM) is expected to select a location in the next few weeks, they said.

First & 10: Dallas Cowboys HQ and practice facility takes shape in Frisco

The Dallas Cowboys headquarters and practice facility — a $350 million campus project known as The Star in Frisco — is beginning to take shape in Frisco’s $5 Billion Mile.

“It’s coming along pretty good,” said Joe Hickman, CEO of Blue Star Land LP, a Cowboys-affiliated firm developing the 91-acre project anchored by a 12,000-seat indoor practice facility.
